Yeah, we might be a bit late to the party, but there’s still not a lot of groups who can successfully take down Sartharion with all three drakes still alive! After a successful night killing Onyxia (and getting She Deep Breaths More), and doing some Trial of the Crusader, our raid had enough time to try our hands at Sarth 3D. We’ve never been able to do 2D, but with the raid DPS, excellent Tanks and Healers we had along last night, we were able to do a raid that few groups have been able to do, even now. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the raid last night, and a special congratulations to Nutters for winning the drake!

Well, not exactly, but with ten level 80s, it’s close enough, right? Yes, I finally did it. I maxed out my character screen with level 80s. No multi-boxing, recruit-a-friend, pre-60 experience increase, but a couple heirloom items (after the first 5 hit 80), and still spending time with family.

I just want to thank all the people that helped me reach this goal, whether you knew it or not.

Hmm… Now what do I do?

With Anub’arak down, that marks this instance cleared. As it was a short instance, it didn’t take nearly as long to clear as Ulduar is taking. At some point we’ll also head back into Ulduar and kick Yoggy’s butt to finish it off as well.

Just a reminder, patch 3.2.2 is now live. Until they update the official site, you can read the patch notes here. The big changes are the update of Onyxia to a level 80 instance, several new vanity pets mostly with sources unknown, and the nerf of armor penetration. It is mostly a bug fix and minor balancing patch, so check out the notes to see what’s changed.

If you’re visiting the site and wonder why you can’t reach the forums, it’s because I’ve been working on it and didn’t think to post something here. Yeah, slick move on my part. If you read carefully, you’ll notice in the error message for the forum, there’s a link to the new board. Instead of the old “Forum” link, it’s updated to “Forums“. Not my choice, but there’s a strict “No upgrade in place” problem with the version we used to have. It’ll be ugly until Faileas or I get into a major skinning mode. I’ll postpone some of my leveling to make sure it looks good enough that I’ll want to use it.
