Malygos was a huge achievement for us. Besides hard mode Sartharion, Malygos is currently the hardest fight in the game. This was our fourth week making attempts on him, and we finally got him down! Thank you to everyone who helped us make attempts on him including, Thugger for heals and to Gadholm for the support and advice. Special thanks to Tankin for taking up Raid Leader at the last moment.

Grats to Tankin, Zandrabel, Mayana, Daeluin, Shevenal, Raam, Nutters, and Pantherz. Special grats to Peredhill and Halider picking up some Malygos loot as well! Let’s hope that we can learn from this kill and be able to get him on farm soon!

On Monday evening, we attempted Sartharion with one drake up, Tenebron. It took us several tries to get the feel for the fight and positioning and tanks right, but we ended up getting him down! Grats to everyone who was on the kill! Thanks to Exorest, Roddeny, and Tankin for tanking. Thanks to Boneshaker, Nutters, and Raam for healing. And finally, thanks to Moondalin, Zandrabel, Daeluin, and Faileas for the DPS and AoE to get it all done!

This seems to be one of the quickest turnarounds on patches I’ve seen since I started playing WoW.  Word on the street is that patch 3.09 will land Tuesday during maintenance.  There are some changes in there I’m very willing to see as an original Retribution Paladin.  As usual, make sure you log in early if you plan on raiding, just to make sure.
