No, it’s not another April Fool’s joke.  Due to some personal issues along with recent unavailability, I am vacating the Guild Master position.  Faileas will be stepping in to fulfill the role.   Guildies can find out more by reading up in the forums.

Okay, so the post is a few days late.  We’re not hardcore, so managing to get 25 people to blow through both instances was a very nice change of pace.  Gruul went down in our usual fashion.  Nothing like having the a tank die near the end and watching melee get splattered all over the floor.

Like many other Stormwardens, I discovered Magtheridon’s Lair upon entry.  After a poor shaman from out of guild dropped totems and aggro’d, causing a wipe, we went on to 3 (I think that’s how many) attempts and finally downed Magtheridon.

We really should get our looting order and priorities straightened out a bit better.  That’s in the works now I think.

So, we may not run Zul’Aman a ton, but we get just a little bit further each time.  This week we downed Jan’Alai.  He dropped a nice dagger.  We’re hoping we get to the Hex Lord soon.

It looks like many of you know, but Tankin (and all associated alts) were removed from Stormwardens. No, I didn’t do it, but this should teach people to whom they should give passwords.

Thus, this April 1st, Tankin became the Guild Master of “The Dafia”.

From what I hear, the joke was almost busted when two people /gquit while I was online. People come and go enough that I didn’t pay much attention. Good thing I didn’t do a /who. Hopefully Faileas will create a second news post (or edit mine) to explain the details.
